This 37th International Symposium of Essential Oils (ISEO), will take place in Grasse on September 10-13, 2006.

It is organized jointly by Prodarom and the Club des Entrepreneurs of Grasse.

Today, this conference is the only scientific event – worldwide – which reports progress of research and applications in the field of essential oils. Although the ISEO Conference usually takes place in Europe, many Scientists from other parts of the world will attend. Whereas, the previous ISEOs have been attended by a majority of scientists from Academia, the 37th ISEO should be largely attended by technicians from the Flavor, Fragrance and Cosmetic Industry.

The topics addressed will be as follows:

Day one: beneficial and adverse biological effects of essential oils. Toxicological issues and regulatory aspects.

Day two: innovative analytical methodologies, and results obtained thereby, in the domain of essential oils and related natural products.

Day three: morning: innovative processing technologies applied to essential oils and related natural products.

The sessions will start on Monday, September 11th at 09.00 AM. They will end on Wednesday, September 13th at 12.30 PM
